Cassandra Green and Milly McLeod write as Cassandra Milly, a duo built on over a decade of best friendship, endless voice memos, and a shared obsession with big feelings and cinematic storytelling. They met in high school and have been finishing each other’s sentences—and stories!—ever since.

  • Cassandra is a bicultural Mexican American writer and multi-disciplinary storyteller. Her fiction explores the sparkling spaces where emotion, identity, and hope collide.

With a background in creative marketing and digital storytelling, Cassandra has spent the past decade crafting media that’s reached hundreds of millions of views. (She’s also a lifelong writer with a wildly popular fanfiction that racked up a shocking amount of reads—though she’ll never tell you which one.)

These days, she writes novels, usually with dramatic movie and television scores on loop as part of “her process,” and lives deep in the heart of Texas with two extremely photogenic rescue cats and more books than shelf space.

  • Milly is a lifelong storyteller whose journey began with fanfiction. She now writes romantic fiction that transports readers to new places and captures the emotions we often struggle to put into words.

After five years in South Korea earning her degree, Milly returned to Texas and built a career in media and marketing. All the while, she’s been on a mission to understand what gives a story that obsession-worthy “it factor,” the kind of magic that makes you want to live in its world. Inspired by her partner’s work in horse racing, she finally set out to write the novel she’d always dreamed of.

She now lives in Texas with her scruffy rescue pup, Filbert, affectionately known as her “babyness.”
